Three NASA space instruments hit a science 'trifecta'

NASA says three of its space instruments hit the trifecta Wednesday, operating on the same day at the moon, on Mars and en route to Mars. The mass spectrometers built at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., were running three experiments of the same kind at different places in space, the space agency said Friday.
